He is a much tougher bloke on the inside than MR Turnbull. Certainly has displayed more guts and conviction lately. He is very much underestimated candidate. Definitely a prime ministerial materialAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07962818895625572882noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4052593945054595675.post-58748506846761367282016-06-21T06:20:06.765+10:002016-06-21T06:20:06.765+10:00I am disappointed that PM's 50B tax cut was no...I am disappointed that PM's 50B tax cut was not scrutinized to the extent I expected. People seems to be taking a lame duck approach in Australia when it comes to tax cuts. It's an old model to inspire business to reinvest and create more jobs. but these days big corporate companies go to such a length to avoid paying tax. So not sure whether tax cut will really do it's jobAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07962818895625572882noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4052593945054595675.post-76326629978189963672016-03-29T00:05:52.781+11:002016-03-29T00:05:52.781+11:00I hope NSW folk get their first privatized electri...I hope NSW folk get their first privatized electricity bill before the election which will prove tho them just how much the Liberals duped themAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05641900078452282240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4052593945054595675.post-83573548032915312622016-03-29T00:00:35.806+11:002016-03-29T00:00:35.806+11:00Do not under estimate Bill Shorten. You can nearly guarantee that the Liberals and voters have grossly underestimated Labors campaign which is exactly what labor want. If Shorten and Turnbull have a debate I put my money on Bill to win.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05641900078452282240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4052593945054595675.post-76702133405169565562016-03-27T20:57:46.281+11:002016-03-27T20:57:46.281+11:00It will certainly hurt in those seats where sittin...It will certainly hurt in those seats where sitting MPs are retiring, but all those should be held comfortably anyway unless the Coalition starts doing much better than currently imagined. (Incidentally my model was missing one of these retirements - Perth - which has now been added, with no real impact on the overall projections.) Will it have much more effect than this? Probably not much even if it generates some raised eyebrows in the media. Seemingly B-team lineups can be surprisingly effective when the opposition is on the nose, eg ALP in Queensland last year. And yes, some of the Lib-WA Nat seats should be fun.Kevin Bonhamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06845545257440242894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4052593945054595675.post-65885716751796135332016-03-27T20:26:42.061+11:002016-03-27T20:26:42.061+11:00WA could be very interesting, the state Liberal pa...WA could be very interesting, the state Liberal party is unpopular, the Nationals compete independently and may be competitive in a couple of seats while the ALP has gone walkabout leaving Senator Sterle (who?) as their only MP to have actually won a seat at an election. What effect do you think the ALP's complete lack of recognisable candidate will have in WA? SneakyPetehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13979788335587833421noreply@blogger.com
